I’ve been looking for one for a while, actually. And then I stumbled across a sale and found this one. It was $80 off and seemed to have the basics for a beginner like me. After looking up reviews quickly I noticed a used one just sold on TradeMe for $10 more than the price of the new one in the store.
So I bought it.
And my adventures into sewing and more craftiness begins!
Well, that is, once I learn how to use it. I honestly don’t have a clue. It’s still in the box at the moment.
If you know of any good sewing blogs or resources to help me learn how to sew please share them! My goal in 2012 is to start sewing and making more of the things we need. :)

I bought a sewing machine a few years ago had the hardest problem with the bobbin. Once I figured out how to thread it then it was easy. But I bet I spent 8 hours reading the book to figure out how to thread it. Hopefully it won’t take you as long.
