Among the many DIY ideas I wanted to recreate for the wedding was the idea of hanging photos of our relationship for people to browse during the wedding. We ended up hanging them behind the gift table.

It was one of the easiest projects too. I printed off a few of my favorite pictures from our history together (at Walmart of all places). My bridesmaids hung them up the day of the wedding with leftover ribbon from another project and tiny clothespins I bought at Hobby Lobby.

I loved the result. I always adored the creative ways others brides displayed photos at their weddings especially those who hung them in a similar fashion. Since ours was a backyard wedding we couldn’t do a slideshow or anything so this worked out perfectly.
As they were hanging the photos my friends joked that all our photos were the same since they were mostly all self portraits from traveling together. But in the end there were just enough with different angles and views to make it work.

And even better, I still have all the photos I printed off for the wedding! I am hanging some on our walls and the rest are going into a photo album. Love it when things from the wedding are incorporated into our new every day newlywed life.
