There were more tiny details at our wedding than I thought! Going back through the photos I realized there were a lot of little details that existed before our guests even made their way to the backyard where the wedding was held.
The most useful of these details were the wedding signs that gave directions throughout the neighborhood. We didn’t want anyone getting lost so a couple of handmade signs pointed the way to the wedding.

With those handmade signs were balloons! This wasn’t even my idea and I had no idea it was done until I saw photos later. Debbie, the lovely owner of the house we had the wedding at, bought some balloons to use in addition to the signs and in front of the house. It made it much more noticeable!

Then when you entered the house there was the welcome sign I created.

I wanted to give them an idea of what the wedding would be like – fun, colorful, quirky. I think this sign did the trick.
Besides the welcome sign the first thing guests saw when they walked in was the tables with programs, our fingerprint tree, and this love sign.

Because that’s what it was all about? Right? <3
